The company receives fees from both borrowers and investors for these services.

Dr. Tim Thabe is creditshelf’s Chief Executive Officer and co-founded the company in 2014. His main tasks are strategy and communications, human resources, creditshelf risk management, credit analysis and portfolio management, legal and compliance, as well as technology and data. Before co-founding creditshelf, Dr. Tim Thabe worked as credit risk officer and rating advisor at Goldman Sachs in London, United Kingdom, as well as in multiple positions evolving around the credit sector at UBS in Zurich, Switzerland.

Dr. Daniel Bartsch co-founded creditshelf in 2014 and is its Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for finance, tax and controlling, equity investor relations, sales, partner management, operations, business development, product development, debt investor relations and marketing. Before his time at creditshelf, Dr. Daniel Bartsch worked as project manager and management consultant at Kienbaum Consultants International and as project manager and senior consultant at Bain & Company. Afterwards, he worked in multiple positions at UBS, including leading positions in Zurich, Switzerland, and Singapore.
Chairman of the supervisory board
Rolf Elgeti is engaged in various companies, including as General Partner of Obotritia Capital KGaA. He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Leibrenten Grundbesitz AG and Obotritia Hotel SE. In addition, he is a member of numerous other boards and committees. In May 2018, Rolf Elgeti was appointed as chairman of creditshelf’s supervisory board. He was reelected in July 2023.

Rolf Hentschel is a member of the supervisory board of HGV Hamburger Gesellschaft für Vermögens- und Beteiligungsmanagement mbH. In May 2018, Mr. Hentschel was appointed as deputy chairman of creditshelf’s supervisory board. In July 2023, he was once again entrusted with this position. He is also Chairman of the Audit Committee since its establishment.

Prof. Dr. Schiereck is a member of the supervisory board of BayernInvest Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH and Head of the Corporate Finance Chair at the Darmstadt University of Technology. Prof. Dr. Schiereck has been a member of creditshelf’s supervisory board since May 2018.

Julia Heraeus-Rinnert is Managing Director of J² Verwaltung GmbH and a member of the Shareholders' Committee of Heraeus Holding GmbH. She has been a member of creditshelf’s supervisory board since May 2018.
